Personal Life
Michael J. McConnell is far more than a lawyer. He is a devoted husband to a loving wife, a committed father to their baby daughter, and a best friend to their dog “Moose.” Mike met his wife over twelve years ago while he was an undergraduate student at Nyack College in Rockland County, and they have been a constant source of encouragement to each other ever since as they both pursue their respective careers dedicated to helping people through their toughest times. In fact, it was the unwavering support of his wife and the birth of his daughter that motivated Mike to finally take the leap and open his own law office, where he could relentlessly pursue justice consistent with his values of honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
In Mike’s spare time away from work and home, he can often be found coaching youth sports, which is something he has done for over ten years now including while attending law school when he coached JV baseball at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains and continuing through today coaching youth girls basketball in Westchester County. Mike is also an avid runner and has completed a 50-mile ultramarathon as well as two regular marathons. He also enjoys playing ice hockey and baseball in local adult leagues depending on the season. It probably goes without saying that Mike’s competitive fire and will to win is always on full display throughout all aspects of his life, including in the courtroom.
